A few years ago, writers could make a full-time income just by publishing on platforms like Medium. Some even made a fortune doing it.
But that’s no longer the case. Algorithms have changed. Competition has skyrocketed. And passive income from writing on platforms has dried up.
If you want to make a living as a writer in 2025, there’s only one real path:
Sell.
