I Hit 1k Followers on Medium!

New milestone. What next?

I just hit 1,000 followers on Medium!

I can hardly believe it myself.

A thousand people have chosen to follow and, hopefully, read my stories.

I’m happy to know that someone finds value in what I write.

I didn't have a grand plan when I started writing on Medium 3 months ago.

I’d been reading stories on Medium for a long time but never took the time to write anything.

If you ask what held me back from starting, I’d say Fear — fear that no one will read my writing.

Or maybe just plain old procrastination.

But then I came across this tweet on Twitter back in February, which kind of hit me:

It wasn't until April that I mustered enough to get started and see what happens.

Fast forward to now, less than 90 days into my Medium journey, I hit 1k followers.

The journey to 1k has been anything but straightforward.

There were times when I wondered if anyone was even reading my work.

But here we are, a thousand strong, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

The Rollercoaster of Writing

Writing is a rollercoaster.

There are days when words flow effortlessly, and then there are days when you’re staring at a blank screen, struggling to string together a coherent sentence.

There were moments when I doubted myself, questioned my abilities, and considered giving up.

But every time I felt that way, I received a comment or a message from one of you, and it reminded me why I started this journey in the first place.

Building a Community

Hitting 1,000 followers isn’t just about the number; it’s about the community we’ve built together.

Each one of you brings something unique to this space.
