Thanks for stopping by my Medium profile.

I’m Mark Willis, a writer, artist, and music lover.

Here’s a little backstory of how I got into writing.

Three years ago, I was laid off from my job.

I worked at a food company but always loved writing on the side.

Even as a kid, I would scribble stories and ideas in my notebooks.

For me, writing was what I turned to clear my mind.

It was therapy.

I never considered making money from it.

However, after losing my job, I spent a lot of time scrolling through social media — especially Twitter (now X).

In between the scrolling, I started writing tweets and sharing my thoughts.

Over time, I built an audience, growing my account to over 40,000 followers.

But there was a problem: I wasn’t making any money from it.

Then one day, I got a DM from a brand offering to pay for sponsorship.

I accepted the offer and that was my lightbulb moment — I realized I could turn my writing into a real business.
