I made my first online money from a little book I wrote and published on Amazon.
This was five years ago, in September 2018.
It was a short sci-fi novel that I’d spent two months writing.
Three days after my book went live, I checked my Kindle dashboard and saw my first sale. I was elated.
That first sale netted me a $1.05 royalty, which isn’t much.
But it was enough to instill the belief that I could make real money on the internet.
Over the years, I’ve earned a good income online, with most of it coming from writing.
Here are some ways I’ve been paid for typing on the keyboard.
Published Books
As I mentioned, I’ve been self-publishing books on Amazon for over five years.
For a long time, it was just a side hustle that helped pay the bills.
However, in 2021, I invested more time and money into this business and saw tremendous growth.
So far, through KDP, I’ve earned over $100k in lifetime sales.
